As per order of Board of Labor Inspection dated 02.11.2007 and number 7640 and as required by law number 2822, representatives visited above specified company as required by assignment notice dated 02.11.2007 and number 1189 of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security Antalya Group Headship, they negotiated with the attorneys of employees, presented records and documents and below points were deducted.

1- Kanseti production in the company is made by the installment of the materials purchased from outside. As per the date of inspection, it was ascertained that 25 men, 293 women, 318 workers work in the factory, 81 of these workers (two of which are men) are on strike (starting on 26.09.2006) and 7 workers are left out of Strike and Lock-out as required by the articles 39-40 of Law number 2822.
2- There has been no increase in the number of workers after the start of strike in the factory. However, new workers were recruited to substitude the workers who quitted or whose labor contracts are held in suspension (pregnancy, etc.) Written information was given to Antalya District Office regarding those workers.
3- Petrol-İş Labor Union brought suit in Antalya Labor Court claiming that new workers were recruited to substitute workers on strike and these workers are fulfilling the duties of the workers on strike. This suit was inspected by Antalya 1st Labor Court and settled on 16.08.2007 and the claim was rejected. ( photocopies of statement of claim, record of proceedings in which the decision of the court is found and expertise report are attached )
4- Number of the recruited workers according to terms from the negative result of collective bargaining is specified below.
- 49 workers from 19.07.2006 to decision of 11.08.2006 and date of announcement,
- 26 workers from 11.08.2006 date of announcement to the implementation of strike 26.09.2006,
- 72 workers from the implementation of strike to 31.10.2007.
80 workers quitted between dates 26.09.2006 – 31.10.2007.
It was understood that totally 321 workers worked in the factory on 26.09.2006 and as of 03.11.2007, 318 workers were working. And the difference between the workers who were recruited during the strike and the workers who quitted stemmed from the workers who were recruited temporarily to substitute workers whose labor contracts are held in suspension. (generally due to pregnancy)

5- Financial Manager Cem Günaltay said that: “ We have no illegal application regarding the strike ongoing at our factory. We only recruit workers to substitute workers who quit or can not work due to reasons such as pregnancy. Labor contract of the workers who were recruited to replace pregnant workers are cancelled after pregnant workers return to work. The suit brought about this by the labor union was rejected. There is no serious difference regarding overtime pay between the periods before and after the strike. Arrangement of the order of pregnancy or the ban of pregnancy is out of dispute. Parties bargained again on 30.10.2007 and the bargains were positive. We expect tht bargains will have positive result.” Photocopies of the documents regarding the overtime pay paid to workers are attached to minutes.


This minute has been arranged as 1 page, 4 copies, read and signed after the verification is accepted. One copy was given to employer attorney. 03.11.2007

Novamed 2007 picnic


2007


In 2007 Novamed team went to ancient Olympos Bay via yatch with 170 participants.


2007 senesinde 170 katılımcıyla yatlarla tarihi Olimpos koyuna yatlarla gidildi.

Every year Novamed is organising free of charge company picnic for personnel motivation.


All Novamed team takes place an entertaining , nice day and increasing team spirit during picnic.


Her yıl Novamed personel motivasyonu için ücretsiz firma pikniği organize etmektedir.


Tüm Novamed takımı piknikte eğlenceli, hoş bir gün geçirmekte ve takım ruhu artmaktadır.

In 2006 Novamed team went to Köprülü Kanyon for rafting with 160 participants.


2006 senesinde 160 katılımcıyla Köprülü Kanyon’a rafting yapmaya gidildi.

Biz Novamed çalışanları bugüne kadar sustuk yeter artık. Biz sustukça grevdeki arkadaşlar sürekli yalan dolanla bir şeyler yapmaya çalıştılar ve biz çalışanlarda bir karar aldık , onların olmuş gibi anlattıklarına cevap veriyoruz.
Hangisinden başlayacağımı bilmiyorum ama şu tuvalet olayına çok güldüm.Şirkette Sendikalılar örgütlenmeye başladıktan sonra , Sendikalı işçiler iş yavaşlatmaya gittiler, gereksiz yere lavaboya çıktılar, su içmek için izin aldılar.Bu çok aşırı olmaya başlayınca şirket bir çizelge hazırladı.Üretim kaybının ne kadar olduğunu saptamak için yapıldı.
Biz bu güne kadar onlara hitap ederken hiç bir şekilde onları küçümsemedik.Ben greve katılmasam da onlara hep demişimdir.İnşallah her şey istediğiniz gibi olur dedim.Ama onlar bize sürekli siz bizden değilsiniz deyip ayrım yaptılar.Ben kendim şahsen şahit oldum daha doğrusu yaşadım.Grevci arkadaşların yanına nasılsınız diye gidip halini hatırını soruyorduk.Bir gün gene öyle yaptım.Bu sefer sebebini anlayamadığım bir tepkiyle karşılaştım.Bana ve burdaki diğer çalışanlara şerefsizler diyerek hakaret etti.Biz gene de bir şey demedik.Ama bu haksızlığa daha fazla dayanamadım.Hatta bizimle dalga geçtiler.Siz köle gibi çalışın, biz oturduğumuz yerden para kazanıyoruz diye bizimle alay ettiler.Bir de onlara sorun bakalım biz onlarla hiç bu şekilde konuşmuşmuyuz.Hayır Asla!
Aslında yazacak o kadar çok şey var ki ama bazı detayları atlayıp biraz kısa yazmak istiyorum.Grevdeki arkadaşlar onurlu grevimizin .........günü diyorlar.Acaba onlar onurluda biz onursuzmuyuz? Ne dersiniz?Biz burda şu anda 200 civarında çalışanız.Size soruyorum82 kişi mi çok, yoksa 200 mü?Madem bu kadar kötü şartlarda çalışıldığını söylüyorlar.
Bir de evet oyu veren 12,5 Euro aldı diyorlar.Asla biz böyle bir para almadık.Onlar bizi sürekli incitip aşağıladıkları için ve de greve gitmekle tehdit ettikleri için Evet oyu kullandık.Ne yapacaklarını görmek için.Vede gördük.Sürekli asılsız iddialar ve şirketi mahkemeye vermeler.Hepsi boş.Çünkü biz çok güçlü bir Novamed ailesiyiz.Bizi kimse yıkamaz, daha doğrusu kimse bizim ekmeğimizle oynayamaz.

We, employees of Novamed have been silent until today, but now it is enough. Our striking colleagues have been continuously trying to do something using lies and untruths, but now we have made a decision to give an answer to what they depict as having happened.

I can’t figure out where to begin, but I laughed to death as I read the thing about the toilet. After labor organizations have begun to be organized in the company, the union laborers have decided to go on slowdown strikes. They went to the toilet needlessly and asked permission to go to drink water. As these occasions became excessive, the company prepared a schedule. This was done in order to determine loss of production.

Until today, we never have depreciated them in any way when addressing them. Even if I have not joined the strike, I have always told them that I hope that everything is as your heart desires. But they have told us always that we are not one of them and have discriminated us. I myself have witnesses, better told experienced this. We have always approached the striking colleagues and asked how they are. One day I did the same, but confronted a reaction, the reason of which I could not understand. They insulted me and the other employees working here by yelling at us “Mufaka”. But we didn’t say anything anyhow. But I couldn’t endure this partiality any longer. They even have made fun of us. They said “Continue to work like slaves, we earn money without even lifting up our bottoms.” Go and ask them, if we have ever talked to them like that. No, never, not even once!

Actually, there is so much that could be written down, but I want to skip some details and to cut it short. The striking colleagues say that today is the …….th day of their honorable strike. Does this mean that they are honorable and we are not? What do you think? At the present time, we are at about 200 workers here. I ask you, is 82 people more or 200? Since they are working under such bad conditions…

Additionally, they claim that the ones voting “yes” have received 12,5 Euro. We never received such money. We voted “yes”, because they have insulted and humiliated us continuously and because they have threatened us to go on strike. Just to see what they are going to do next, and so we did. Continuous groundless claims and lodging claims against the company… It all won’t help. Because we are a very strong Novamed family. Nobody is strong enough to destroy us, or rather; nobody has the right to threaten our livelihood.

Ben Novamed’ de 8 yıldır çalışıyorum.Daha önce çalıştığım firmalarda hamilelik olayı sorun oluyordu, günümüzde zaten hamile kalınca işten çıkartılıyor.Hiç bir hamile bayan gidipte bir tekstilde bir otelde çalışamaz.Ben de hamile kalacağım zaman sordum bu işyerinde çıkarma olayı oluyormu diye sordum.Çıkartılmadığını söylediler.Hatta daha uygun yerlerde çalıştırdılar.Her türlü desteği sağladılar, fazlasıyla gördüm.Hamileliğin izin ve sırayla olmasına biz kendimiz çalışan bayan arkadaşlarımızın hepsi kendi karar verdi.Basında yeraldığı gibi kazayla hamile kalanlar aşağılanıyordu diyorlar, tam tersine işine devam etti.Onlar hep bizi aşağıladılar, bize siz hakkınızı savunacağınız yerde konuşun diyorlardı, biz de bunları yaşadık.

I have been working in Novamed since 8 years. The matter of pregnancy was an issue in the companies I previously worked for, today, in any case, when one becomes pregnant she is dismissed from work. No pregnant woman can go and work in a textiles, a hotel. When I was to get pregnant I asked, I asked whether there was any dismissal in this workplace. They said they did not dismiss. In addition they employed in more suitable places. They provided all kinds of support, I received more than enough. We, ourselves, our working women friends all decided that pregnancy would be on leave and in a sequential arrangement. As it is in the press, they say those who become pregnant by accident were denigrated, on the contrary, she continued with her work/job. They would denigrate us all the time, they would tell us you speak instead of defending your rights, we on the other hand, went through these things.
